bowl of Raspberries and alpine strawberries

Delicious deep red raspberries, so delicate that the juice oozes onto your fingers no matter how carefully you pick them. We grow summer fruiting and autumn fruiting raspberries, which means a steady supply of these delicious berries all summer.

Raspberries are best picked and eaten on the same day, so when they’re in full production, it’s good to preserve a few for the autumn. I like to make a supply of freezer jam, which is wonderfully fresh and fruity though a little runny and a few bottles of Raspberry Vinegar, which I use mainly in salad dressings and for alleviating a sore throat. I don’t love frozen raspberries but a small supply means I can make Raspberry Loaf Cake at any time of year.
